Funny Morning

I finished my last summer class yesterday and so I have 2 weeks until I start school again. My 20 minute trace DNA evidence presentation for this last class went really well so I was happy about that. Now that I have 2 weeks off, I will spend my mornings watching Elaina while Jocie goes to work.

Most days are pretty normal, but this morning was especially funny. For the life of me I couldn't figure out what Elaina wanted for breakfast. I can usually make out the words that she says, but today she was saying something that I coudn't understand. I finally just opened the fridge and decided that she could pick what she wanted to eat. She climbed in the fridge and pulled out some watermelon. I figured that if she was happy then whatever she wanted to eat for breakfast was great (one of the perks of being the dad), as long as she didn't get too dirty. I put a giant bib on her and she went to town.

Elaina loves shoes. I think that she is liker her mom and has a shoe fetish. Hopfully she will grow out of this phase or we will be in troube when she is a teenager. She loves to wear shoes!! There was one evening where Rob and Karen came over and she decided to wear Rob's shoes. It is even more funny when she gets them on the wrong feet.



I have also decided that there is a relationship between the shoe size and the quantity of funny things that may occur. Usually it is the most funny when she decides to wear my shoes or sandals (they are the biggest).

To continue the story of our adventures earlier this morning, once she was done with her watermelon and after a lot of cleanup she climbed down from her chair and put on Jocie's sandals. She has been been doing this for for about 2-3 weeks but we haven't gotten any video of it. I figured that you guys would like to see it. I hope that you like it, although it is of Elaina so I don't know what there wouldn't be to like about it.
